Rentals
Two shops in Coral Bay
Golden Ride Rentals have two shops in Coral Bay with plenty of free parking. We have a wide range of quadbikes, road and off-road buggies, motorbikes, scooters, and bicycles.
The rental day is 8:30 – 17:00 (for longer rentals you can keep the bikes overnight if you have safe parking.)
License
License is required: for quads and buggies you will need a category for car (B in most countries). AM is the minimum for a 50cc scooter. A1 – for a 125cc bike. A2 – for 250cc. Category A is valid for all two-wheel motorbikes.
On all motorised vehicles there’s a safety deposit from 100,- to 500,- EUR depending on the specifics of your rent. Petrol is not included or provided (petrol station is near).
All quads and buggies are for Paphos area only (40km radius). Bigger motorbikes can be taken further – please inform us and consult us before renting. The insurance for rentals is 3rd party.
Safety
Our dedicated and experienced drivers and technicians are always ready to instruct our clients and deal with any technical problems on spot.
The key to safe riding is controlling the bike. Tipping the quad over is an initial fear of many first-time riders, but that only happens if the person loses focus. Another dangerous thing is standing up while driving as you can be hit by a branch.
Dust in the dry months of the year means that protective goggles or close-fitting sunglasses make a safer riding. People with asthma are advised to wear a proper dust-mask.
Taking those safety measures on board, the rides are great fun.
