Emergency First Response Course

» Emergency First Response course creates the confidence to care for others. A great course for the whole family to be involved in!
» Minimum age – 8 years old (Maturity and understanding are critical to complete the course with certification)
» Minimum certification- None
» Duration: 1.5 Day
» This course includes the EFR manual and certification fees.

Emergency First Response (EFR) training builds confidence and prepares you to act in medical emergencies. You’ll learn simple, effective steps and practice skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Before the course, you’ll study at your own pace using a manual and videos that clearly explain each skill.

What you’ll learn:
Primary Care (CPR): How to respond to life-threatening situations, perform CPR, manage bleeding, shock, and spinal injuries.
Secondary Care (First Aid): How to treat non-life-threatening injuries, relieve pain, and prevent further harm.
CPR & AED: How to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and perform CPR effectively.

This course is suitable for all ages, provided participants can understand and perform the skills. It’s ideal for individuals and families alike.

EFR manual and certification fees.

Optional upgrade:
Add the PADI Oxygen Provider Course for even more emergency response skills.

Additional Information

» The centre reserves the right to change dive sites without prior notice due to weather conditions, safety considerations, or suitability on the day.
» No refunds will be given for any missed dives once on board.
» All divers must be medically fit to dive. If any medical condition is indicated, approval from a GP is required before participation.
» Divers must have completed a dive within the last 12 months to join any boat, shore dive, or day trip. Otherwise, a refresher dive is required before booking.
» If a participant arrives late, the activity will proceed without them and no refund will be issued.
» Course and activity fees are non-refundable if the program is not completed due to the participant’s decision.
