Omodos rewards an unhurried visit. A coffee or slow walk still makes the trip worthwhile when a workshop or museum is closed.
Park legally outside the tightest part of the old core and expect slopes, cobbles and uneven paving. Leave enough time to look beyond the main square rather than arriving with only a few minutes before the return.
